I started making tie-dye golf shirts when a friend of mine couldn't get in to play golf in his tie-dye T-shirt--buttons, and a collar were required. These shirts exist because they are the minimum requirements to get into the golf or polo club, and thus they are sports shirts.
Also we are the official outfitter of the Haight-Ashbury Umpires Association (HAUA), and they wear our tie-dye golf shirts as their uniform, which has also started a fad with baseball players.
