This Red, White and Blue pattern took a long time to perfect. I actually worked on it around the 4th of July for several years. Because it only has 2 colors besides white I had to work out a pattern that would give it some WOW. I finally hit on the idea of having the colors interpenetrate which gave it more visual interest. Since then I have used this technique with other 2 color patterns.
